LeeAnn is a natural networker, and her greatest joy in life is connecting people who click. She has a talent for helping people feel comfortable and drawing them into her circle. LeeAnn also takes great pride in sucking other people into her hobbies and pastimes. Recent triumphs include crocheting a sweater and forging a knife. She has a passion for trying new things, going new places, and meeting new people.

As a Meetup Organizer for over 15 years, LeeAnn has also seen what doesn’t work when trying to build a community. Adventure-Us is a passion project that has been years in the making. She has carefully crafted the format and refined the philosophy after a lifetime of throwing parties, hosting events, leading groups, and planning activities. Her most recent move to Maryland was in 2021 just as the pandemic was winding down, but she has also lived in Phoenix and Seattle. LeeAnn understands the challenges of starting over completely. Her personal experience, analytical approach, curiosity-driven research, and vivacious personality enable her to speak with deep conviction about how to solve the loneliness epidemic.

LeeAnn lives in Baltimore City with her son who has zero interest in hanging out with his mom’s friends.
