After starting over socially as an adult and running into the same patterns again and again — LeeAnn saw the problem clearly. Groups that looked promising but never went anywhere. Conversations that faded after one event. Plans that sounded great in theory but fell apart in practice.

The issue wasn’t effort or personality. It was the way most communities are built.

Drawing on her own experience, years of organizing groups, and a deeply analytical approach to how friendships actually form, LeeAnn designed Adventure Us to do what casual, open-access spaces can’t. It’s intentionally structured to reduce flakiness, prevent burnout, and move people beyond surface-level interaction — so familiarity, trust, and real connection have time to develop.

Adventure-Us exists because real community doesn’t happen by accident.

It happens when someone designs it — carefully, intentionally, and with respect for the people who choose to show up.
